Display Case Design
In 2019, as part of an internship project, a colleague and I were given the opportunity to design three unique display cases for the credit union lobby. Each display was carefully crafted to engage members, promote financial initiatives, and create a visually dynamic experience.
Signature Credit Card Launch
Designed in Illustrator | InDesign | Photoshop
The first display focused on announcing and promoting the credit union’s new Signature Credit Card. Designed to be bold and attention-grabbing, it featured:
A large cutout of the new credit card as the centerpiece
A printed backdrop highlighting key card benefits
Glitter number cutouts to showcase promotional details
Bins and themed props representing the different card features
This display not only celebrated the new card launch but also provided an engaging way for members to learn about its perks.
New Year’s Savings Goal Challenge
Lastly to kick off the new year, we designed a winter-themed display to encourage members to set and track their savings goals. Inspired by a ski course, the display included:
Checkpoint markers representing different savings milestones
Custom cutouts to create depth and visual interest
Window clings for an interactive and layered effect
A professionally printed backdrop to tie the theme together
This display motivated members to stay on track with their financial resolutions in a fun and engaging way. There was an additional piece that allowed members to interact with the display and pin up their new year’s savings goal.
Kids' Savings & Financial Education
Designed in Illustrator | InDesign | Photoshop
The second display was created around the holidays and aimed to educate families on the importance of kids' savings accounts. It also highlighted the fun, interactive financial education tools available at the credit union, including video games and engaging learning experiences. The design included:
Whimsical cutouts featuring flying dragons and coconut characters
Christmas tree ornaments to reflect the holiday season
Colorful visuals to capture children's interest and excitement
This display helped families understand the importance of early financial literacy while making learning about savings fun for kids.
